1. Introduction

A DMCC Free Zone license allows a business to operate within Dubai's premier free zone, with access to international markets and simplified regulatory requirements. Under the Flexi Desk setup, companies benefit from a cost-effective shared workspace arrangement, while enjoying full DMCC licensing privileges. Company formation is managed end-to-end through DMCC's online portal, coordinated by InBusiness. A dedicated Business Setup Executive (BSE) is assigned to oversee the application.

2. Required Documents

The following documents are required from the client to initiate the DMCC application (Expression of Interest & Pre-Approval stage):

HR Signatory Appointment Letter	must be filled in and signed by shareholders and uploaded.
Passport visa page & Emirates ID (front & back)	For each Consultant / POA / Shareholder / Director / Manager / Secretary; UAE residence visa & Emirates ID required if applicable.
Proof of residential address	Valid tenancy contract, utility bill, or government-issued document (not older than 6 months).
Consultant's Appointment Letter (if applicable)	Mandatory only if a consultant acts on behalf of the company.
Power of Attorney (if applicable)	Attested copy required if signing powers are delegated.
Three preferred company trade names	For DMCC name reservation, subject to naming rules.
Preferred bank & financial year dates	To be confirmed by the client for inclusion in the application.

4. Scope of License Services

InBusiness provides end-to-end support for DMCC company formation:

Preparation and entry of Applicant, Shareholder and Officer details (share value, business experience, share structure).

Company name reservation (submission of three proposed trade names).

Selection and registration of business activities.

Advice on Value-Added Services (VAS).

Review and confirmation of the application prior to submission.

Preparation, coordination and DocuSign signing of all system-generated documents (Electronic Signature Undertaking, HR Signatory Appointment Letter, Specimen Signature Form, Shareholders' Resolution, Articles of Association, Standard Terms & Warranties, Activity Undertaking Letter).

Coordination of BSE identity-verification video call for all signatories.

Portal top-up and submission of fee payments at each stage.

Reservation of the DMCC Flexi Desk workspace and issuance of the Flexi Desk Reservation Certificate and Tenancy Contract.

Handover of the Electronic Licence, Share Certificate(s), Certificate of Registration, Articles of Association, Flexi Desk Tenancy Contract and Financial Year Declaration upon completion.

Licensing	If the property type selected is Flexi Desk with no third-party approval required and the Share Capital is less than AED 500,000 the application will directly proceed to the licence issuance stage.
Post-Licensing	Within 6 months from the licence issuance date, a Bank Share Capital Deposit Letter or a Bank Statement reflecting the deposited amount (stamped) is required if the share capital is below AED 500,000.
