1. Introduction
The Dubai Digital Nomad Freelance allows remote workers, freelancers, and business owners to legally reside in the UAE while continuing to work for clients or companies based outside the country. The visa is issued for one year and is renewable, providing holders with UAE residency without the need for a local employer or sponsor.
With regard to the financial requirements, the minimum monthly income requirement is USD 3,500. However, for freelancers and business owners, demonstrating a monthly income of approximately USD 5,000 or above may provide a stronger basis for approval.
The applicant must also provide evidence of either: (a) ownership of a company registered outside the UAE for at least one year; or (b) a valid and active contract with foreign clients covering a period of at least one year.
2. Required Documents
The following documents are required from the client to submit the Digital Nomad Freelance application:

4. Scope of Visa Services
Guidance on confirming the applicant's eligibility for the Dubai Digital Nomad Freelance, including the minimum monthly income and supporting evidence requirements
Preparation and submission of the visa application through the relevant UAE authority, including entry of information, document upload and payment of government fees
Coordination of any required verification steps and follow-up with the authority through to visa issuance, with confirmation as soon as approval is received
Assistance with the mandatory health insurance arrangement where required
End-to-end coordination of the residency process, including any required biometrics or status-change steps, with the client accompanied throughout
Guidance on renewing the Digital Nomad Freelance and maintaining compliant UAE residency status
